This story from CBS 13 doesn’t say if the DUI offender still has a license or not. it’s hard to believe you can still be legal to drive after five dui convictions.

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ―
Five DUI arrests and a Sacramento man was still behind the wheel when police arrested him this morning for an alleged sixth DUI. CBS13 asks the question, how could this man still be on the road?

“After the third, the person should have been declared a habitual traffic offender, which means if he drives at all, four inches in his driveway, without a drop of alcohol in him, he can go to jail for a year,” says Antler. |
