Heather Locklear has been charged with DUI but no illegal drugs or alcohol were found her system.
I hope she gets off. But why do these wealthy people insist on driving when they can well afford a taxi?
The charge stems from Locklear’s Sept. 27 arrest, when a witness called 911 to report that the actress was “driving erratically.” Since the incident, the District Attorney’s Office has dropped a charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance because the drugs in question were “prescription medications.” |
“Lab tests showed she had no alcohol in her system and no illegal narcotics of any kind,” said Carter. “We believe that the prescriptions she was taking could have impaired her ability to drive a motor vehicle safely.” |
